US rapper Young Thug has just confirmed details of his upcoming mixtape.
Entitled ‘Jeffery’, the tape will be Thug’s third release of the year and will be available later this month (August 16).
The news follows a series of teaser Instagram videos in which Thug appears to be listening to snippets of the project.
Young Thug’s new mixtape will follow the recently released ‘I’m Up’ and ‘Slime Season 3’.
Artists TM88 and Wheezy will be executive producers for the mixtape.
Last year, Young Thug was named in an indictment over an alleged plot to murder Lil Wayne. Although in an Apple Music interview earlier this year, he mentioned his praise for the New Orleans rapper, saying, “He’s still my idol. I still know all his music. Everything that he’s putting out now. I still know everything. I pay attention to him.”
