YOURCODENAMEIS:MILO are planning a gig in the most unusual of venues – an old people’s home!

The group, who will also play London Camden Koko on February 11 as part of the ShockWaves NME Awards Shows, have been asked to play at one of the band members’ gran’s residential home.

A band source told NME.COM: “One of the guys gran has asked them to play at the Residential Home’s winter fete and you don’t say no to the pensioners.”

Meanwhile, they have revealed all about their debut album ‘Ignoto’, which will be released in the spring. The album was produced by Flood, who was worked with, among others, Nine Inch Nails, Smashing Pumpkins, U2 and [a][/a].

A single, ‘Rapt Dept’, will precede the album on January 31.

The album title was inspired by the catacombs in and around Rome during World War 2. Tombs marked ‘ignoto’, meaning ‘unknown’ followed by a number housed the bodies of unidentified, executed prisoners of war.
