They'll be joined in Leeds by Plump DJs and Felix Da Housecat...
ZOOT WOMAN, PLUMP DJS and FELIX DA HOUSECAT are among the acts set to play at the first NME and BUDWEISER ‘HOUSE PARTY’ taking place in LEEDS at the end of March.
The event, which will be held at different venues around the UK once a month, kicks off on March 23 at Leeds Granary Wharf with an ’80s-styled disco featuring Zoot Woman and Les Rythmes Digitales man Jacques Lu Cont, as well as Mercury Music Prize-winner Talvin Singh on the turntables.
Sunday March 25 sees Felix Da Housecat, Plump DJs and Cut la Roc play a student night for an early-evening session, running from 5pm-11pm.
The events promise to recreate the vibe of a genuine house party, with a purpose-built venue featuring fixtures and fittings, beer in the bath, and an oversized bed acting as the dance floor.
