Kevin Shields has another go at 'Loveless' and 'Isn't Anything'

The newly reunited My Bloody Valentine are to remaster and re-release their classic albums Isn't Anything' and 'Loveless' next month.

The band's leader Kevin Shields has remastered both albums, which originally came out in 1988 and 1991 respectively. They will be reissued on June 16.

Both new versions will feature sleevenotes from Shields, while 'Loveless' will come as a two-disc edition featuring both a reworking of the original album and a version created from the original analogue tapes.

Meanwhile the band, who have not toured since 1992, are set for a series of comeback UK shows. They play:

London Roundhouse (20-24)
Manchester Apollo (28, 29)
Glasgow Barrowland (July 2, 3)

That's nice to know and I'll certainly be picking up my copies but where's news of the new material? I thought we could expect a new album sometime this year as well.

Excellent news-let's hope that some of the early stuff pre-Isn't Anything gets released too, it costs a fortune second hand. Oh, and the EPS should be made re-available too, you made me realise is a classic!
