My Chemical Romance have been confirmed to play a free show in Las Vegas on December 11.

The show is part of a mobile phone-sponsored series of gigs entitled Flash Concerts taking place around the US. Fans text a number and receive information by return text message.

Artists who have already played the free shows include Chingy and The Game, and Nada Surf took the stage last night (November 27) at Hiro Ballroom in New York City.

Detroit natives The Von Bondies have also been confirmed for the series, with a show at Boston’s Paradise Club on December 5.
