My Chemical Romance headline Linkin Park event

Linkin Park have recruited My Chemical Romance, Placebo and Taking Back Sunday to headline their Project Revolution tour throughout North America this summer.

The tour kicks off on July 25 at a location that has yet-to-be-determined. It will several hit cities in California, Arizona, Texas and New York before wrapping up in Colorado on September 3.

Also on the bill are Julien-K, Mindless Self Indulgence, Madina Lake, Saosin, the Bled, and Styles of Beyond.

The annual tour, founded by Linkin Park four years ago, is known for bringing together rock and hip-hop acts.

This year, one dollar from each ticket sold will be donated to the American Forests campaign to fund their Global ReLeaf program to plant trees and reduce global temperatures.
