My Chemical Romance to play Projekt Revolution

They play with Placebo and Linkin Park

My Chemical Romance are set to play US touring festival Projekt Revolution which launches on July 4.

It will be headlined by Linkin Park run until September 3 and see Taking Back Sunday, HIM, Placebo and Julien-K on the Main Stage.

Mindless Self Indulgence, Saosin, The Bled, Styles Of Beyond and Madina Lake play the Revolution Stage.

Speaking about it Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington said: “I couldn’t be happier with the group of artists joining us on Projekt Revolution this summer.”

Projekt Revolution will be donating $1 (£0.50) from each ticket sold to American Forests for their Global ReLeaf program which plans trees in order to help reduce global termperatures.

Tickets are set to go on sale on May 19.
