My Chemical Romance, Foo Fighters to play Shockwaves NME Awards ceremony

My Chemical Romance and Foo Fighters are set to play live at this year's Shockwaves NME Awards ceremony in London.

The ceremony takes place at the O2 Academy Brixton on February 23 – tickets go on sale at 9am (GMT) today (January 26).

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl is set to pick up the Godlike Genius award at the ceremony, while Arcade Fire, Foals and Kasabian are among the nominees for other awards along with my Chemical Romance, who are up for four.

Foo Fighters are set to headline the NME Awards Big Gig at Wembley Arena on February 25.
