My Morning Jacket release picture disc for charity

It features skits from band's San Francisco performances

My Morning Jacket have announced the release of a vinyl picture-disc to benefit a New Orleans charity.

The band will give the proceeds from sales of their '2006-2007 New Year's Eve Skit Picture Disc Skit' to the Sweet Home New Orleans Organization, a non-profit dedicated to revitalizing the music and community in New Orleans by helping its artists stay in the city.

The disc features skits from the band's 2006-2007 New Year's Eve 'Oregon Trail'-themed concert at the Fillmore in San Francisco. It also includes two pieces of intro and outro music.

The disc can be purchased via the band's website Mymorningjacket.com.
