My Morning Jacket exhibition to open in New York

Studio and live shots to go on display at the Morrison Hotel Gallery

My Morning Jacket exhibition to open in New York
An exhibition of photographs documenting My Morning Jacket is set to open at the Morrison Hotel Gallery in New York later this month.

21 images will feature in a six-week exhibition entitled ‘Still Moving’ which opens on May 22. The images include include hand-printed, archival shots from the film negatives, and they will be available in limited editions.

Most of the images have never before been seen by the public and were shot by photographer Sam Erickson during the recording of the band’s last three studio albums: ‘It Still Moves’, ‘Z’, and ‘Evil Urges’ as well as numerous live shots and the making of their CD/DVD ‘Okonokos’.

The exhibition is the first time the Morrison Hotel Gallery will feature an artist on the rise as opposed to a retrospective.
