And there’s a May tour

Mystery Jets have announced details of their next single.

The band will re-release ‘You Can’t Fool Me Dennis’, a single in 2005, on May 15 through 679 Recordings.

The single will be available on two 7” vinyls and one CD and will feature new B-sides, including a cover of the title track and a Justic remix.

‘You Can’t Fool Me Dennis’ is the latest song to be lifted from the group’s debut album ‘Making Dens’, which was produced by James Ford and recorded on Eel Pie Island.

To celebrate the release of the single and following an appearance supporting Bloc Party at The Royal Albert Hall on March 29, Mystery Jets will embark on a headlining tour in May.

The dates are:

Liverpool Theatre (May 1)
Manchester Academy (2)
Glasgow QMU (3)
Northumbria Stage 2 (4)
Birmingham Academy 2 (5)
Oxford Zodiac (7)
Norwich Waterfront (8)
Brighton Concorde 2 (9)
London Electric Ballroom (10)
