Dappy appears in court on affray charges

Former N-Dubz member Dappy today (Jan 7) faced charges of affray in court following an incident at a petrol station which left three men with serious facial injuries in 2012.
The rapper, who had a Number One hit with his single 'No Regrets' in 2012, appeared at Guildford Crown Court alongside three other men: Kieran Vassell, Kalonji Stewart and Alfred Miller. All four men are charged with affray.
If convicted, Dappy faces a fine of up to £5,000 and up to six months in prison. He has protested his innocence in several tweets.
The incident took place on February 28, 2012 at 3.30am. It is alleged Dappy and one of the other defendants got out of their car and approached a group of two girls and three men and asked the women to join them in their car. Another group of up to six men in two cars arrived, leading to a brawl.
Dappy released his debut solo album 'Bad Intentions' in October 2012.
