Pop titans N Sync are gearing up to take their domination plans onto a galaxy far, far away with a cameo appearance in the forthcoming 'STAR WARS - EPISODE II: ATTACK OF THE CLONES'.

Members of the five-piece will be seen only briefly in a "big scene with lots of extras", MTV reports.

The band, who are all reportedly fans of the series, secured their place in celluloid history when they asked the film's producer Rick McCallum for roles.

'Star Wars - Episode II: Attack of the Clones' will be released on May 16 in the US and UK.
