TIMBERLAKE'S 'HORROR' AT FAN'S DEATH

*N SYNC star JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE has spoken of his "horror" after discovering a 21-year-old woman hoping to see him had been killed by a hit-and-run driver who allegedly reversed deliberately into a crowd of fans outside a LOS ANGELES radio station where he was making an appearance.

As previously reported the woman was among dozens of fans waiting outside the studios on Monday evening (September 9) while Timberlake was making a guest appearance inside to promote his forthcoming solo album.

Cameron Duty, 23, reportedly had an argument with someone in the crowd, then got into his truck and backed onto the sidewalk where the fans were gathered, according to police reports.

In a statement, Timberlake said: "I am horrified to learn of the senseless death outside KIIS-FM last evening, and my family and I wish to express our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the victim. Our thoughts and prayers are with you."

Duty left the scene, but was later arrested and faces charges of murder, hit and run, and drunk driving.
