JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE surprised fans yesterday (June 17), by fronting a live funk band, freestyling entire songs and playing guitar at a late night gig.
A few hours after he stepped off stage from the Justified and Stripped show in Los Angeles, Timberlake took to the stage at the House of Blues to perform a 'Show After The Show'.
The six- song, 45 minute show was performed entirely live, with no pre-programmed tracks, choreography or stage props, with the singer playing hits such as 'Like I Love You', 'Cry Me A River', 'Senorita,' and 'Rock Your Body'.
"Did you come to have fun? The point of this show is to have fun," Timberlake asked the audience, who paid just $35 a ticket for the low-key show.
According to reports on mtv.com, the former *NSYNC vocalist was joined onstage during the set by bandmates Joey Fatone and Lance Bass. Will.I.Am, from Black Eyed Peas, also put in a guest appearance, freestyling and beat-boxing with Timberlake.
