Napster launches music streaming subscription service
Napster Unlimited offers five downloads plus streaming
Napster has launched a new online paid-for music streaming application, Napster Unlimited.
The application costs £5 a month to sign up for, with users getting unlimited access to stream songs from its catalogue, plus five restriction-free downloads per month. The downloaded files do not expire when the subscription does.
In a statement Napster chiefs said that the service offers over eight million songs in its catalogue. The service can be accessed by web-enabled phone devices to use on-the-go. It does not feature advertisements.
