Nas joins petition against FOX over alleged racism
Nas is set to join representatives of ColorOfChange.org and MoveOn.org tomorrow (July 23) when a petition of 620,127 signatures is delivered to the FOX media organisation in Manhattan.

The rapper, who is married to fellow hip hop artist Kelis, has added his name to the objection that accuses the organsation of racism against Black Americans, and more specifically presidential candidate Barack Obama and his wife Michelle.

Among the incidents listed include on-screen graphic that referred to Mrs. Obama as “Obama’s baby mama,” an anchor called a fist bump between Barack and Michelle a “terrorist fist jab”, and FOX personality Bill O’Reilly suggested calling a “lynching party” to deal with Mrs. Obama.

The signatures were obtained through an online petition via
ColorOfChange.org,and MoveOn.org. The Brave New Foundation also gathered signatures for the petition.
