The band will be joined by [a]Miles Hunt[/a] at an early '90s one-off revival show...

Ned's Atomic Dustbin are set to reform for a one-off gig in celebration the 30th anniversary of Midlands venue DUDLEY JB's, nme.com can reveal.

According to the Midlands-based website www.the-pushbar.co.uk Ned's will play in the courtyard of the Dudley Castle on July 29. The site claim to have spoken to Ned's bassist Alex Griffin, who revealed the band have already had their first rehearsal in almost five years in anticipation of the event.

A spokesperson for the venue confirmed that the band were due to join ex-Wonder Stuff vocalist Miles Hunt on the bill, but dismissed rumours that The Wonder Stuff would also reform for the show. He said: "They [Ned's] still live in Dudley and they're going to do it for me. Between three and four million people have passed through the doors of the venue over the years, and we want a big celebration. Miles said he will do it too...but I don't think a Wonder Stuff reunion is on the cards!"

Ned's Atomic Dustbin rose to fame alongside Carter USM and the Soup Dragons in the early '90s. They are most fondly remembered for the single 'Kill Your Television' and Top 20 hits 'Happy' and 'Not Sleeping Around'.
