'ONE NIL' - BUT IT'S NOT OVER YET!

Ex-CROWDED HOUSE vocalist NEIL FINN is back in the studio, recording new material for the US release of his most recent album 'ONE NIL'.

Finn made the revelation while speaking to NME.COM at the Australasian Performing Rights Association annual awards dinner in his hometown of Auckland, New Zealand, where he was accepting the organisation's Silver Scroll award for the best song written by a New Zealand composer in the last year.

"I was in the studio today actually, with the band,'' he said. "We're adding a couple of new songs to my record. It's not out in America until next year, so I'm freshening it up and just keeping things ticking along.''

Finn has also just released is his first movie soundtrack, for the New Zealand feature film 'Rain'.

As previously reported, a new live album, titled 'Neil Finn ~ 7 Worlds Collide', will be released on CD and DVD on November 12.

The record was recorded during Finn's week long residency at St. James' Theatre in April this year, where he was joined by a number of musicians to form a 'supergroup'.

The band featured Johnny Marr, Eddie Vedder and Radiohead's Phil Selway and Ed O'Brien, amongst others.
