Neil Young is set to release a graphic novel based on his album 'Greendale'.
The LP, which was released in 2003, was based on the story of Sam Green a fictional California teen with a growing sense of political activism.
Young is set to collaborate on the book with writer Joshua Dysart and artist Sean Murphy.
Karen Berge, an executive from publisher Vertigo, said: “I met Neil about a year ago. He approached us. He loves comics and he’d been following all the attention for graphic novels that’s going on.
“Much like the rest of his creative work. It’s his baby, and he’ll have a big hand in producing the book and promoting it later on.”
No release date has been announced, reports Publishers Weekly.
