Neil Young to headline Hard Rock Calling
The Pretenders, Fleet Foxes also on London bill
Neil Young has been unveiled as one of the headliners at London's Hyde Park's Hard Rock Calling weekend this June.
Young will headline the event on June 27, supported by Fleet Foxes, Seasick Steve, The Pretenders and Ben Harper's new band Relentless7.
Bruce Springsteen is set to headline the event the following day, playing alongside the Dave Matthews Band and The Gaslight Anthem.
More acts are set to be announced for both days.
Speaking of playing on the same bill as Neil Young, The Pretenders' Chrissie Hynde said in a statement: "We would play a garden shed to be on a bill with Neil Young but Hyde Park – summer – with 'The Loner'? This is what makes a thousand hours on tour buses all worthwhile. This is why people get in bands."
Tickets for the Neil Young date go on sale this Friday (March 13) at 9am (GMT). The Springsteen-headlined day has already sold out.
