Neil Young is set to tour the UK next summer with his band Crazy Horse.

The legendary rocker has announced four shows for June 2013, kicking off the run of concerts at Newcastle Metro Radio Arena on June 10. He will then play Birmingham LG Arena on June 11, Glasgow SECC on June 13 and London's O2 Arena on June 17.

Tickets go on sale at 9am (GMT) on Friday December 14. The shows mark Young's first dates in the UK since his Glastonbury Festival headline set and shows at Hard Rock Calling and Isle Of Wight festival in 2009.

They will also be Young's first UK gigs with the Crazy Horse line-up of Frank 'Poncho' Sampedro, Billy Talbot and Ralph Molina since 2001.

Neil Young & Crazy Horse have released two albums this year: 'Americana' and 'Psychedelic Pill'.
