Neko Case announces a handful of US dates

The singer will road-test new material

Neko Case has announced a handful of live dates around the US to "try out" material for her forthcoming album.

The ginger-haired chanteuse and part-time New Pornographer has announced that she has almost finished writing the follow-up to 2006's 'Fox Confessor Brings The Flood'.

She'll be hitting several New England cities beginning later this month to get audience feedback on her new material.

The tour dates are:

Tarrytown, NY Music Hall (January 25)
Ithaca, NY State Theatre (26)
Burlington, VT Higher Ground (27)
Albany, NY The Eggs (31)
Providence, RI Lupo's (February 1)
Northhampton, MA Calvin Theatre (2)
