New Order spin-off band Bad Lieutenant to play UK gigs

Bernard Sumner and Stephen Morris' new group hit the road

Bad Lieutenant, the band formed by New Order's Bernard Sumner, have announced details of three live UK dates for October.

The group also features former New Order guitarist Phil Cunningham, drummer Stephen Morris and newcomer Jake Evans.

Blur's Alex James contributed to the recording of the collective's debut album, 'Never Cry Another Tear', due out on October 5, but will not play on the live dates. Tom Chapman will play bass at the gigs.

London Heaven (21)
Manchester Ritz (22)
