SECOND EDINBURGH FLUX FESTIVAL ANNOUNCED FOR AUGUST
Nick Cave (pictured), Spiritualized, POLLY HARVEY, YO LA TENGO, THE JESUS & MARY CHAIN and THE DIRTY THREE have all been confirmed to appear at Edinburgh's second Flux Festival in August.

Spiritualized will be appearing with classical composer Steve Martland in two special collaborative performances. Last year, The Divine Comedy played a similar set with experimental composer Michael Nyman.

Nick Cave will perform solo in two piano and spoken-word concerts at Queen's Hall, with Antipodean pals The Dirty Three in support. Cave is expected to join them for part of their set. A Serge Gainsbourg tribute concert, featuring as yet un-named Glasgow musicians, is also planned.

Beat author Ken Kesey and Ken Babbs will re-unite and present footage from their hippy-era 'Magic Bus' escapades, one of only two appearances the pair are making in the UK.

Flux will once again use Jaffa Cake, the 600-capacity venue specially opened for last year's event, as well as the 1,000 capacity Queen's Hall
