Nick Cave has new approach to interviews

Nick Cave’s new band Grinderman are asking fans to phone them and leave a question on their answer phone for their first interview.

The band, which consists of Cave and Warren Ellis, Martyn Casey and Jim Scalvunos are set to release their self-titled debut on March 5.

On their MySpace page the band say: “It’s a good idea to keep your question brief as we have limited time with the band, who will answer as many questions as possible, although we can’t promise they’ll answer every question asked.

“If you have a question you'd like to ask the band then we want to hear from you. You can either Skype it to us on the link below or call and leave a message on 020 7043 9787."

Answers will then be posted on the band’s site.
