Dizzee Rascal also added to performers list

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds to play Plug Awards

Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds have been lined up to play a special headlining set at the Plug Awards in New York City.

They joins performers Jose Gonzales and St Vincent at the event which will take place at the 3,000 capacity Terminal 5 venue on the city’s west side.

As previously reported, Georgia band Of Montreal have the most nominations, competing in seven categories including Album Of The Year for ‘Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer?’ , Artist Of The Year and Song Of The Year for ‘Suffer For Fashion’, while Arcade Fire and Justice each received six nominations and will go up against Of Montreal for Artist, Song and Album Of The Year.

Band Of Horses and The National each got five nods. El-P and Spoon are nominated in four categories.

The ceremony takes place on February 8.
