Nick Cave, Black Kids, Crystal Castles and Hot Chip are among the acts confirmed for this year’s Pop Montreal festival taking place October 105
Burt Bacharach, Dan Deacon, Wire, Silver Apples and Beach House are also on the schedule for the event which is in its seventh year.
In addition to the live shows, the event features Puces Pop, “a DIY festival that celebrates independent creation…featuring a marketplace of handmade goods, a record sale and gear swap, a series of free arts & crafts workshops and a mini-seminar on business skills for self-employed artists.”
Other features at the Pop Montreal include Film Pop, Art Pop and a music symposium.
Passes are $175 if purchased before August 31, and $225 from September 1 to 30. Passes purchased after September 30 cost $275.
Tickets for individual shows are also available.
