Former Queens Of The Stone Age bassist Nick Oliveri has outlined his solo plans.

Oliveri, who released his second solo album 'Death Acoustic' in October, is set to tour the album in the US next January and February.

Recent shows have seen Oliveri play with just an acoustic guitar, and you can watch video footage of him in action at a recent gig at Rosenkeller in Germany by scrolling down now.

During the video, Oliveri references his former band Queens Of The Stone Age – whose leader Josh Homme asked him to leave in 2004 – by saying he's upbeat because, "You can't get fired in your own band, man!"

Nick Oliveri plays:

Cambridge, Middle East (January 22)
New York, Pianos (23)
Philadelphia, Khyber (24)
Washington, Velvet Lounge (25)
Raleigh, Volume 11 Tavern (26)
Charlotte, Tremont Music Hall (27)
Atlanta, Lenny's (28)
Nashville, The End (29)
Memphis, Hi Tone (30)
Chicago, Double Door (February 1)
