Niki And The Dove are streaming their debut album 'Instinct' before its official release next Monday (May 14) - you can hear it below.

The full-length follow-up to last years' 'The Drummer' EP features 12 tracks, including the singles 'The Fox' and 'DJ, Ease My Mind'. Speaking to NME about the recording of the album, keyboardist Gustaf Karlöf compared it to Star Wars, in that it's built around "dark and light".

"There's a duality there – it's all quite big and grandiose, but one side is about the belief in the power of nature, and the other is more romantic," he explained.

Karlöf has also spoken about the flamboyancy of the band, commenting: "We have been given one life each, so why not choose to live it as fantasy? We are free within Niki & The Dove. That is so good!"

The Swedish duo, which also features singer Malin Dahlström, are currently on tour in the UK. They're due to play Southampton Joiners tomorrow (May 9) and the Great Escape before playing at Horatios as part of Brighton's Great Escape festival the following night (10). They then round off the jaunt with shows in Newcastle, Birmingham and Cardiff before the end of the month.
