Trent Reznor's latest is available to download free now

Nine Inch Nails have made their new studio album, 'The Slip', available to download free.

The album is available to download now from the Nin.com/. It will receive a conventional CD and vinyl release in July. The album download includes a PDF with art-work and album credits.

'The Slip' was produced by Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor plus Atticus Ross and Alan Moulder. In a statement to fans Reznor said: "Thank you for your continued and loyal support over the years. This one's on me."

Nine Inch Nails previously released an album, 'Ghost I-IV' online in March, with fans choosing how much to pay to download it.

i really wish he would release these albums under a different monicker. NIN has gone from a brilliant musical experience (Pretty Hate Machine, Broken, Downward Spiral) to a mockery of itself. these new songs are uninspired and quite lacking both musically and emotionally. sad.

It's great that trent Reznor is treating us fans...it used to take him four years+ to make an album and now we get three in the space of a year....unfortunately the lack of quality shows that maybe he should take longer - With Teeth is the last great work he did and these recent efforts have been distinctly average at best, with a few gems few and far between....hopefully these are demos and off-cuts though....
