Trent Reznor has slagged off former Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell in a Twitter update in which he says Cornell’s album makes him feel “uncomfortable”.

Among a string of Nine Inch Nails tour date announcements yesterday (March 11), Reznor added an update saying:

“You know that feeling you get when somebody embarrasses themselves so badly YOU feel uncomfortable? Heard Chris Cornell's record? Jesus.”

Cornell’s new album ‘Scream’ is a collaboration with hip hop producer Timbaland.

I like Chris Cornell......but I have to agree with Reznor.....it is embarassing, its like watching an elderly Uncle at your sisters wedding piss himself on the dancefloor.....very sad.

i avoided any reviews of cornell's album ahead of time and downloaded it...then listened to it...and promptly deleted it.cornell hasn't been good since 1996, when Soundgarden were still together. Yet another case of Ashcroft needing McCabe, only Ashcroft was never THIS bad on his own.

I agree with Reznor Being a big Soundgarden fan i was absoloutely appalled when i heard that new Chris Cornell single you wouldnt think it was the same bloke who made Badmotorfinger. It sounds really really awlful and Chris Cornell has sold out his soul big time.

Best thing that can happen is Cornell's album to sell 0 copies and Timbaland to take his fat annoying wank music making anus of a face, put himself in a big massive sack, fill the sack with all the wank albums this cuntrod has made over the past fuck knows how many years and drop himself into the Atlantic ocean.
