Photo Gallery: Nirvana
Former Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic will return to his bass roots when he takes to the stage with punk band Flipper next month.
Novoselic has been playing bass with the San Francisco act since October and is set to perform live on their forthcoming tour, their first in ten years. The UK and Irish dates are in support of The Melvins, for whom Kurt Cobain was once a roadie.
Novoselic has most recently been involved in local politics in Washington state, and wrote a personal memoir entitled ‘Of Grunge & Government: Let's Fix this Broken Democracy!'
Flipper will play:
Seattle El Corazon (December 1)
Portland Dante’s (2)
All Tomorrow’s Parties Festival (8-10)
London Scala (11)
Manchester Academy 3 (13)
Glasgow The Garage (14)
Belfast Lavery’s (15)
Dublin The Village(16)
Galway Roisin Dubh (17)
San Francisco Café Du Nord (20)
