Nirvana's rare 'Hormoaning' EP is set to be re-released on Record Store Day, April 16.

The EP was originally only sold on the band's 1992 Australian tour. It features covers of songs by DEVO, The Vaselines and The Wipers plus two of the band's own songs: 'Aneurysm' and 'Even in His Youth'.

The songs were recorded during a BBC Radio 1 John Peel session.

The re-release will be limited to 6,000 copies.

Foo Fighters, Deftones and The Strokes are among the other artists putting out special releases for Record Store Day.

The tracklisting for 'Hormoaning' (with artists covered in brackets) is:

'Turnaround' (Devo)
'Aneurysm'
'D-7' (The Wipers)
'Son Of A Gun' (The Vaselines)
'Even In His Youth'
