The London location triumphs at ShockWaves NME Awards 2006

Carling Brixton Academy wins Best Venue

The Carling Brixton Academy in London has won Best Venue at the 2006 ShockWaves NME Awards.

The venue saw of fierce competition from Manchester Apollo, London Astoria, London KOKO and Glasgow Barrowlands to claim the prize.
