Kasabian kick off Shockwaves NME Awards 2007
Kasabian have opened this year's Shockwaves NME Awards with a stunning live performance.

The band kicked proceedings off at Hammersmith Palais in London today (March 1) with a two-song set including ‘Empire’ and ‘Stuntman’.

Other live performances scheduled for today include The Killers, Kaiser Chiefs, The View, a Beth Ditto and Jarvis Cocker duet and Godlike Geniuses Primal Scream.
