Manics, Kaisers, Bloc Party, Klaxons and Cribs new Big Gig onsale now

Tickets for the Shockwaves NME Awards 2008 special Big Gig have gone on sale today (December 18).

The show, which takes place at the 02 Arena in London on the night of the 2008 Shockwaves NME Awards (February 28), features Manic Street Preachers, Kaiser Chiefs, Bloc Party, Klaxons and The Cribs.

With the ceremony itself taking place ahead of the gig at the IndigO2 venue next door, it means for the first time ever fans can really get involved in the awards.

Manic Street Preachers who have been named the ’Godlike Genius’ for the 2008 Shockwaves NME Awards, will headline the event, with a Best Of The Shockwaves NME Awards Tour bill playing ahead of them.

Reflecting the now massive bands who enjoyed a leg-up on the tour before going on to great things, that means Kaiser Chiefs, Bloc Party, Klaxons and The Cribs.

Tickets are on sale exclusively through NME.COM right now.

To get your Shockwaves NME Awards Big Gig tickets simply head to NME.COM/biggig.
