Kate Nash backing The Cribs for Shockwaves NME Awards
Singer has a protest planned if her favourites don't win
Kate Nash has spoken of her support for The Cribs at the Shockwaves NME Awards 2008.
Speaking to NME.COM, Nash, whose boyfriend is Cribs' singer Ryan Jarman, explained that she had a special protest planned if the band didn't take home the Best Band gong at tonight's (February 28) ceremony, which takes place at the IndigO2 in London.
"They should win all the awards," she joked. "If they don't, I'm going to stand up and go ‘Boo! Boo!’”
“The singer's quite fit I guess,” she laughed. “And the drummer and the bassist too, I guess! They're the best.”
