Arcade Fire win Best International Band at NME Awards USA
Canadian-based group are winners at Los Angeles ceremony
Arcade Fire have won Best International Indie/Alternative Band at the NME Awards USA in Los Angeles tonight (April 23).
Presented by The Like, the prize voted by NME.COM’s US users, Jeremy Gara from the Montreal-based band received the award at the ceremony held at the El Rey Theatre.
He said: "I was told the speeches would be longer if the bar was open."
The other nominees were:
Arctic Monkeys
Muse
Oasis
Radiohead
