‘Area’ goes straight in at number one

The Futureheads top the NME Chart

The Futureheads have shot straight to the top of the NME Chart tonight with ‘Area’ (November 6).

The band knock last week’s most requested video ‘Apply Some Pressure’ from Maximo Park to number two while The Rakes fall from two to four with ’22 Grand Job’.

New entries this week come from Franz Ferdinand at three with ‘Walk Away’, Gorillaz at eight with ‘Dirty Harry’ and Babyshambles at ten with ‘Albion’.
