Dirty Pretty Things top NME Chart

Dirty Pretty Things have topped the NME Chart tonight (June 11) with their new single ‘Deadwood’.

The band have risen four places to the top slot, taking the slot from Razorlight, who fall a place to Two with ‘In The Morning’.

There are four new entries – Boy Kill Boy go in at Four with ‘Civil Sin’, Panic! At The Disco go in at Six with ‘Lying Is the Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off’, The Futureheads go in at Nine with ‘Worry About It Later’ and The Young Knives enter at Ten with ‘Weekends And Bleak Days’.

The Top Ten is:

1. Dirty Pretty Things - ‘Deadwood’
2. Razorlight - ‘In The Morning’
3. The Strokes - ‘You Only Live Once’
4. Boy Kill Boy - ‘Civil Sin’
5. Metric – ‘Monster Hospital’
6. Panic! At The Disco – ‘Lying Is the Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off’
7. The View – ‘Wasted Little DJs’
8. Plan B – ‘Mama’
9. The Futureheads – ‘Worry About It Later’
10. The Young Knives – ‘Weekends And Bleak Days’
