Metal show to launch on NME Radio this week (Jul 26)

A new heavy metal show is set to launch on NME Radio on Sunday (July 26) then go weekly, being broadcast at 7pm-9pm (BST).

The show, Metal Hammer Meltdown, will see the station team up with Metal Hammer, with James Gill and Terry Bezer from the publication set to host the weekly broadcast.

Sunday's inaugural show will be sponsored by the forthcoming Sonisphere festival. It will feature an interview with festival chief Stuart Galbraith and a chance for listeners to win VIP tickets to the Knebworth event, which takes place on August 1 and 2.

To tune in, head to Sky Channel 0184, Virgin Media 975, Freesat 727, DAB in London or NME.COM/Radio.
