The band sign to System Of A Down guitarist Darren Malakian's new label...

AMEN TO THAT!

Amen have signed a new record deal with System Of A Down guitarist DARRON MALAKIAN’s label, EAT UR MUSIC.


The band’s first album ’We Have Come For Your Parents’ came out on nu-metal guru Ross Robinson’s IAm label, through Virgin, in 2000, and they split with the label a year later. Malakian’s imprint is released through Sony.


The Los Angeles outfit have recorded a total of 53 songs, and whittled it down to 20, which are being mixed by Mike Fraiser, who has previously worked with Metallica, AC/DC, Aerosmith and Blood Brothers.


Frontman Casey Chaos has also been recording with Josh Homme and Nick Oliveri from [/a] on a side project called Headband.


[a]Amen play the Download Festival Main Stage on the Saturday (May 31).
