WHEN IN ROME

Fans throng round the Colosseum for free show...

Simon & Garfunkel played to a crowd of 600,000 at a free show in Rome last night (July 31).

The veteran duo performed in front of the Colosseum, the same place where Paul McCartney played for 100,000 people last year. Simon & Garfunkel’s massive gig marked the end of their European tour. It had kicked off in Manchester on July 14.
