STILL QUIET ON THE WEST COUNTRY FRONT

Our man on the spot with the first of his reports from the empty West Country...

STILL QUIET ON THE WEST COUNTRY FRONT

We're here at Total Eclipse in Newnham Park (Andy Crysell writes) in Plymouth and it's empty. The whole of the area is empty - no traffic, no crowds.

I can see a handful of people milling around the edge of the festival site but apart from that there's nothing to report.

We arrived late last night and couldn't get onto the site, so I don't know if this is an improvement or if people are drifting away.

There's really not much else to report. It's muddy. It's been raining. It looks like it's going to rain again. Zero vibes.

More later on.
