UNCUT AT THE LONDON FILM FESTIVAL!

UNCUT is to host a panel dedicated to the new wave of rock documentaries at this year’s THE TIMES BFI LONDON FILM FESTIVAL, it was announced today (September 15).

The panel will take place on Tuesday October 25 at London’s National Film Theatre at 6.15pm.

People we hope will participate in the panel include Ondi Tinmoner, director of Dandy Warhols/Brian Jonestown Massacre doc 'Dig!', Andrew Horn, director of the Klaus Movie doc 'The Nomi Song', Scott Crays, director of NYC punk doc 'Kill Your Idols', and Victory Tischler-Blue, director of 'Edgeplay: A Film About The Runaways'.>

This panel discussion will examine the reasons behind the success of recent rock docs and look at the challenges associated with making this kind of film.

The Times BFI London Film Festival runs from October 20 to November 4. The opening night movie is Mike Leigh’s 'Vera Drake', and the closing night movie is David O Russell’s 'I Heart Huckabees'.

Further information on the festival can be found atlff.org.uk.

Tickets for the Uncut panel will be available to win online from October 7.
