Want to work for NME?

We're looking for a top-class news reporter

Want to work for NME?

Are you the best new news writer in Britain?

NME is looking for a committed, enthusiastic and ballsy news reporter to join its award-winning team on NME and NME.COM.

The successful candidate will have an eye for news both online and offline and an endless stream of fresh ideas. You’ll be unfazed at the prospect of interviewing the likes of Liam Gallagher and Alex Turner, but will also have the stamina to stand outside a police station all night, waiting for Pete Doherty to be let out.

To apply, send a full CV and covering letter, two news story ideas (one for the mag, one for the web) and an analysis of NME’s news service to Julian Marshall, 25th Floor, King’s Reach Tower, Stamford Street, London SE1 9LS.

Alternatively, email applications can be sent to julian_marshall@ipcmedia.com. Closing date is Friday May 19.
