Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds Festivals 2007 tickets soon

The first batch of tickets for next year’s Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds are released soon.

A limited number will go in sale from 10am on August 29. They will be sold at 2006’s prices.

For more information, go to NME.COM/Gigs or Leedsfestival.com.

Meanwhile festival goers can print out the times for this year's events by going to Readingfestival.com/.

Organisers Mean Fiddler have also announced that they will be treating anyone exhibiting 'anti-social behaviour' more sternly than in previous years, following last year's rioting at the Leeds site.

Anyone starting bonfires, throwing missiles, or putting aerosols or gas canisters on fires will be banned for life from all Mean Fiddler events, including Glastonbury.

However, this year's Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival will see more after-hours entertainment than ever before. Events include a DIY Disco running from 11pm to 3am where campers can DJ for half an hour by signing up in advance.

The number of campsite staff has also been expanded this year to reduce the risk of crime and anti-social behaviour.

Additionally organisers have stressed that people without tickets should not travel to either Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds Festivals sites as there will be no tickets on the day.
