ShockWaves NME Awards Tour scoops prize
Plus all the winners from Vodafone Live Music Awards
The ShockWaves NME Awards Tour 2006 was named Best Tour at the Vodafone Live Music Awards last night (October 11).
The jaunt which featured Maximo Park, Arctic Monkeys, We Are Scientists and Mystery Jets was honoured at the London bash.
Other winners on the night included Razorlight, who picked up the Live Impact gong and Best Live Music DVD, U2 who were awarded Best International Live Act and Muse, who scooped Best Live Act.
The received a Lifetime Achievement award, while Best Roadie went to Primal Scream's crew member "Fatty".
This year's Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds Festivals won Festival Of The Year and London's Brixton Academy was named Best Venue.
