The annual NME Cool List is out and today we start counting down the Top 50.

The list collects together the most stylish, individual and, in some cases, down right weirdest people in music today and the first half includes the likes of previous Number Ones Pete Doherty and Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner.
